The annual community survey provides us with an objective, timely and consistent picture of the community’s perception of Council performance.

The survey is intended to provide Council with a comprehensive picture of the community’s satisfaction with:

  • Council’s performance providing services and facilities
  • Aspects of governance and leadership
  • Aspects of planning and housing development
  • Aspects of customer service
  • Council’s overall performance

Team members from Research Metropolis are contacting a random sample of residents by phone.

The survey data is weighted to ensure that each precinct has contributed the correct proportion to the overall results, based on the Census of Population and Housing precinct populations.
