You’re invited to commemorate the 18th Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations by the Australian Government.
This day recognises the formal National Apology to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by the Australian Government on the 13 February 2008 by then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd for the laws and policies of past and successive Parliaments and governments that inflicted profound grief, suffering and loss in the removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children known as the Stolen Generation, from their families, their communities and their country.
