Work experience in local government

We support local efforts to obtain work experience in local government. We recognise the value of our community and acknowledge that we can give back by providing quality student placements.

We can only consider a request if it is a course requirement.

How to apply

It's quick and easy to apply online. Once we receive your application, we’ll send it to the relevant department for consideration.

Please note:

  • If the department can accommodate your request, you will be contacted to make further arrangements.
  • Due to the large number of student placement requests we receive, we only respond to those we can accommodate.
  • This program prioritises students living and/or studying in Darebin.
