Darebin Economic Futures Network - inaugural event

Join us for the inaugural Darebin Economic Futures' Network event, Doing Business with AI.

Darebin City Council, in partnership with La Trobe University, brings business capacity building through networking with other business, and by learning from the experts on how best to develop your business with AI.

The evening will feature a 45 minute panel discussion followed by an informal hour of networking.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Network with other business
• Hear from a panel of experts on AI
• Meet Darebin's Mayor and CEO
• Tour Innovation Central Melbourne, as part of the Digital Innovation Hub

Panel of speakers:

• Dr Bruce Ross– Business Development Manager, La Trobe (ex-Microsoft, IBM, CSL)
• Dr Anisur Rahman– Lecturer in Business Analytics, La Trobe Business School
• Professor Daswin De Silva– Full Professor of AI & Analytics, Deputy Director, Centre for Data Analytics and Cognition (CDAC)
• Professor Wei Xiang– Cisco Research Chair of AI and IoT, Director & Chief Scientist, Australian Centre for AI in Medical Innovation

The event is free but registration is essential for catering purposes. Food and beverages will be provided.
