Next date: Saturday, 25 October 2025 | 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Join this friendly and inclusive nature drawing workshop as part of the Great Southern Bioblitz 2025. No experience needed!

We invite you to explore plant drawing in a supportive space and to meet the living species of Cherry Street Grassland Reserve.

Drawing invites us to observe nature in a mindful way, helping us notice what’s really there and to form more intimate connections with our surroundings.

As such, drawing can be a great tool for Citizen Science, helping us observe species and habitats with more care during events like the Great Southern Bioblitz (GSB).

Plus, drawing is a fun way to connect with others!

At the end of the session, Darebin's biodiversity team will give a quick intro to iNaturalist (a free app for identifying and recording species) so you can apply your observation skills to citizen science and contribute to the GSB.
