If you’re thinking about upgrading to electric appliances and improving the energy efficiency of your home or business, there are government rebates to help lower your costs.

Your installer will apply any rebates as a discount on your quote.

This means you don’t have to claim them later—they come straight off your invoice.

 

 

Tips to maximise your savings

  • Use an installer registered with:
  • Ask your installer to apply all eligible rebates
  • Be aware that for very small rebate amounts, installers may choose to not add them as the time and cost to process can outweigh the benefit for you

By choosing a registered installer and understanding how each rebate works, you’ll get the biggest discount on your move to electric.

You may be able to access an interest-free loan of up to $1400 from Solar Victoria for installing solar panels.

Solar panels

$1,400 Solar Victoria Residential Solar Power Rebate.

$350-$400 (1.5kW system)–$2400-$2800 (10kW system) Federal Government STCs.

Heat pump hot water
