Our Community Grants program supports projects that make Darebin a better, healthier, sustainable and more inclusive place.

Are you a not for profit community group or organisation who wants to help make a better Darebin? It’s time to apply for our annual community grants to support your next initiative.

The 2026/27 Community Grant Guidelines will be available in February 2026.

Grant application dates

Community grants will be open for application on 1 April 2026 and close on 31 May 2026.

Previous grant recipients

In 2025 we received 176 applications across the six main grant streams totalling $945,542.83 (representing almost twice the available budget). After a highly competitive assessment process, a total of 119 successful applicants have been recommended for funding.
