We have joined councils across metropolitan Melbourne and the Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary to represent Greater Melbourne in the Great Southern BioBlitz.
In spring nature is buzzing: flowers are blooming, pollinators are on the move, reptiles are basking, and migratory birds are arriving. It’s the perfect time to get outside and explore.
Between 24–27 October, we’re inviting everyone in Darebin to take part in the Great Southern Bioblitz: a four-day citizen science event where communities across the Southern Hemisphere come together to record as many wild plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms as possible.
