National Road Safety Week

In 2023, May 14—21 is National Road Safety Week and we’re helping raise awareness of safe driving.

The number of Australians killed each year, on average, for the last 10 years is 1,200, with 24 people losing their lives on Darebin roads since 2012. Our hearts goes out to all those impacted by road trauma.

During this week, we encourage people to drive safely and remember those who have lost their lives on our roads. We are helping to raise awareness of safe driving and sharing stories about working together to keep our roads safer on Darebin Council’s Facebook and Instagram.
