Do you need access to plans of your building or property? You can apply online for a range of building plans and documents.

• You must be the owner of a property or have the owner's consent in order to request these documents
• We can't guarantee the existence of any specific documentation until a search has been performed
• Search fees are non-refundable
• Council does not retain any building plans or documentation prior to 1940
• Fees below include up to 5 pages (up to A1 size) of scanning included
• For commercial projects which may include a large number of files, there may be additional scanning fees. Our staff will advise you once your order is received if this is the case.

Commercial properties, including apartment buildings

All building permit documents including plans, certificates and permits for commercial properties.

If you are requesting documents for an entire apartment building, you will need to show that you have the consent of the managing body corporate.

Certificates only

Permits, certificates (pertaining to an existing building permit- eg occupancy permit), notices and orders.

This application does not include copies of building plans.

This application does not include property information certificates (see below).
