Professional development and networking
Environmental Volunteer Managers Network in the North
The Environmental Volunteer Managers (EVM) Network in the North is a newly established network facilitated by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. The network is inclusive of the City of Darebin and various neighbouring Councils. Environmental volunteering or volunteering for nature includes activities that involve caring for landscapes, waste and recovery, energy and climate change, sustainability, citizen science and wildlife care. Representatives from local LGAs and key agencies, and representatives from local community groups who engage environmental volunteers are all encouraged to participate. The network will kick-off with an event in May. For more information about the event or the network, use the contact details below.
