Join us on World Day for Cultural Diversity for a fascinating discussion on interculturalism

Come along to the Intercultural Centre on World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on Wednesday 21 May. Enjoy a talk by Deakin Distinguished Professor and UNESCO Chair, Comparative Research on Cultural Diversity and Social Justice, Fethi Mansouri, followed by a discussion facilitated by local comedian and MC, Diana Nguyen.

Prof Fethi Mansouri will share his in-depth understandings of cultural diversity and intercultural relations, exploring themes related to social justice and human rights, including the social inclusion of migrants. Learn more about Australian multiculturalism and interculturalism, in the context of Darebin's local communities.

Participate in a lively Q&A session, led by the hilarious and heart-warming Diana Nguyen. Diana was named as the 2021 40 under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australian of the year. Notably, Diana's web series 'Phi and Me TV', celebrates Vietnamese refugee migration to Australia and the hilarious trials of intergenerational family love.

The Q&A will be followed by live music and light snacks. The oration will form part of the IC Nights monthly series.
